Kirk Riley Design is an award-winning, full-service boutique interior design studio in Seattle, specializing in vintage residential renovations, kitchens and bathrooms, home furnishings and new construction. Established in 2004, we strive for a long life for your remodeled space with an emphasis on kitchens and bathrooms, using a unique mix of colors, patterns and materials. We get to know how you live, what you love about your home, and what needs to work better. From there, we guide you through the decisions, helping you select quality materials and finishes that feel right for your home and worth the investment.

We especially love working with Craftsman, Mid-Century Modern, Tudor, and other character-filled homes, finding ways to make them feel fresh and functional without losing what made them special in the first place.

We’ll ask all the right questions, guide you every step of the way and have fun throughout the process.

Every project is tailored to the client, the home and the way they live. We create one-of-a-kind designs that carry throughout your home from cabinetry and furnishings, to trim details, lighting and exterior material selections.

Each space is specially designed and then manufactured, featuring meticulous craftsmanship and each selection is made with the full home in mind. Your project will be uniquely you, with personalized and intentional finishes.

We geek out materials and how things are made. We regularly attend industry events, showroom presentations and educational programs to stay current on new products and sustainable design practices. Whenever possible, we look for ways to reuse, repurpose or recycle as much as possible on our remodeling projects – old wood, fixtures, etc. to find them new life and keep items out of the land-fill.

Sustainability also means choosing appropriate quality materials that perform well and will have a long life in your home.
